So I was sitting here watching The Hobbit, and I KNEW there would be a crochet pattern for this hat. And I’m in love with it because I’m in love with The Hobbit and still in love with Lord of the Rings.

I just want to watch The Hobbit over and over. When I was in high school, all my sister and I did was watch Lord of the Rings. When we weren’t watching, we were reading the books, listening to the soundtracks, or playing the Trivial Pursuit LOTR game. We even found a recipe for Lembas bread and made it for Thanksgiving one year. It was good times with some special memories.

Ender's Game

I know several of you are doing this too, so I wanted to share this. They’ve put the schedule up HERE so you’ll know what to expect ahead of time for your daily posts.

I have several new followers on here, and you guys should check it out if you love to read!

I have a few family festivities to do next week for the 4th, but I’ll try to make time to do all of these. I think I’ve decided to read Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, but I may change my mind before next week.

Rabbits

These little guys have been grazing in the yard for a while now, and I was finally able to sneak some photos of them. There are several more of them, including a really big one who rarely ventures out. I imagine him as King Bunny, and he makes the other bunnies bring him food.
